Nearly half a billion people live with some form of diabetes. It is both a health crisis and a social catastrophe which is driving many families into poverty.
IDF is helping to tackle the impact of diabetes on a global scale and as part of its initiative to raise awareness and improve care and prevention, asked us to design and build their website. We also worked on IDF Diabetes Atlas, a cornerstone of global statistics on diabetes, creating both the website and printed publication.
The website content is extensive, covering the multiple issues and initiatives associated with diabetes and within the different geographical regions. Our main challenge was to keep the navigation as user-friendly as possible.
No country is immune from the impact of diabetes, hence the need to share information on a global scale. Raising awareness is a priority as half of all people currently living with diabetes are undiagnosed.
